Maxi arrived on Christmas day. His family brought him here from Maracuy. He is two years old.
Maxi has given us quite a problem. He is our fourth male Capuchin. Capuchin males do not go well together in enclosures. Unless the introduction is done well, they fight. With those big incisors they can do each other a lot of damage. The present arrangement is that Pancho and Chicatin are sharing the big enclosure at the front of the house and Oliver has a newly constructed enclosure. In the meantime, Maxi occupies a small temporary dwelling, waiting for final settlement.
We will probably need to reorganize.
