Ramona September 2010 Visit.

Regular users of this blog will know that Canaote Rescue Center has an outreach arm. That is to say that we visit monkeys that are housed in the community. These are all in homes where we know that the owners love and care for their monkeys. We offer advice on housing and feeding and love visiting these children, Ramona is visited fairly often and she recognizes our car and becomes quite exited. She knows that we always bring a gift of leaves freshly taken from the forest especially for her. This time we took Chinese long beans which we know she likes. Over the years she has changed her residence, Formerly she was housed during the day in a tree in the street. There was a incident with a passerby and the owner sort  a new home for her, Fortunately there was a tree nearby behind the house, This has proved to be a safe home during the day. She has a chain which is secured to her with a soft belt. She has learned to handle the chain without it becoming tangled. Today the owner told me that they are planing a big cage for her. She would be happier without the chain I am sure, She is well fed and in excellent health. I really enjoy visiting her.

Visita a Ramona Septiembre 2010.

Los usuarios regulares de este blog sabrán que  el Centro de Rescate Cañaote tiene una misiòn aparte. Es decir que nosotros visitamos monos que se alojan en la comunidad. Éstos animalitos están en casas dónde nosotros sabemos que los dueños aman y quieren a sus monos. Nosotros ofrecemos consejo en como alojar,  alimentar y cuidar a estos niños, a Ramona la visitamos bastante a menudo y ella reconoce nuestro automóvil y realmente se alegra. Ella sabe que nosotros siempre traemos un regalo de hojas frescas cosechadas del bosque para ella. Esta vez nosotros trajimos también vainitas chinas largas que sabemos que a ella  le gustan. Durante los años ella ha cambiado su residencia, Anteriormente ella se alojaba durante el día en un árbol a orilla de la calle. Pero un día por casualidad ella trato a agredir a un transeúnte y el dueño la tuvo que mudar de sitio, había un árbol afortunadamente cercano detrás de la casa, Esto ha demostrado ser una casa segura durante el día. Ella tiene una cadena que se afianza a ella con un cinturón suave. Ella ha aprendido a ocuparse de la cadena sin  sufrir enredos. Hoy el dueño me dijo que ellos están preparando una jaula grande para ella. Ella estaría más contenta sin la cadena yo estoy seguro, Ella se alimenta bien y tiene una salud excelente. Yo realmente disfruto mucho visitándola.
