Christmas is a time when we celebrate the birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ. It should be a time of peace and joy. But when we look around the world, even on this day, we hear of mans inhumanity to man. Of men blown up and killed for no reason other than their faith. At the same time we know how our race is abusing our God given planet. Destroying the very forests that give us life. In destroying the forest, we are destroying the habitat of many creatures. Man fancying himself as a god of creation. The forest belongs to all of us and that means the little people also. In this coming year, make a personal commitment to do all you can to protect the forests of the world and the best place to start is at home. Here in Venezuela, the forest is raped by individuals only concerned with profit with no consideration for the wellbeing of other creatures with whom we share the earth. The same is true worldwide. Let this be a year when we help turn the tide.

Mensaje de Navidad de Canaote
La Navidad es una época en que celebramos el nacimiento de nuestro Salvador, Jesucristo. Debe ser un momento de paz y alegría. Pero cuando miramos a nuestro alrededor el mundo, incluso en este día, oímos hablar de la inhumanidad del hombre. De los hombres asesinados por la única razón de su fe. Al mismo tiempo, sabemos cómo nuestra raza está abusando de nuestro planeta, dado por Dios. La destrucción de los bosques que nos dan mucho de la vida. Al destruir los bosques, estamos destruyendo el hábitat de muchas criaturas. El hombre creyendose sí mismo como un dios de la creación. El bosque pertenece a todos nosotros y eso significa poco para la gente también. En este año que viene, debemos hacer un compromiso personal de hacer todo lo posible para proteger los bosques del mundo y el mejor lugar para empezar es en casa. Aquí, en Venezuela, el bosque es violado por los individuos que sólo se preocupan por su beneficio sin considerar el bienestar de otros seres con los que compartimos la tierra. Lo mismo es cierto en todo el mundo. Que este sea un año en que ayudamos a cambiar el rumbo.
Sinceramente deseamos mucha paz en la época de Navidad y un Año Nuevo feliz.
