Globovision Continues the Saga of Teresa

A few postings back I told you the story of Teresa. the little lady Howler, just barely a few months old. Who was rescued from the criminals who killed her mother in order to sell her by the road side. You will know that was not the end of her troubles because she became infected by scabies and lost her beautiful coat. She also sank into depression because this was all too much for a little monkey child. You will know that finally she found a good home with very caring people and is well on the way to recovery. Additionally she has a Howler monkey friend in Teodoro, who is a male of three and a half years. Teodoro obviosly looks upon her as his little sister.

The news is that her story was told on Globovision last night. It seems that they are prepared to take up the fight against the illegal and wicked trade in animals. We hear that they intend to follow up the story further and may even visit us here at Canaote.

Globovisión Continúa la saga de Teresa

En unos anuncios atrás les narre la historia de Teresa. La señorita aulladora, de apenas unos meses de edad. Que fue rescatada de los criminales que mataron a su madre con el fin de venderla a orilla de la carretera. Usted sabrá que no fue el final de sus problemas porque se infecto con sarna y perdió su hermoso pelaje. También se hundió en una depresión porque esto era demasiado para una niña mona tan pequeña. Usted sabrá que finalmente encontró un buen hogar con gente muy cariñosa y está en el camino hacia la recuperación. Además tiene un amigo aullador que es Teodoro, que es un macho de tres años y medio. Teodoro obviamente la mira a ella como su hermana pequeña.


La noticia es que su historia fue contada en Globovisión anoche. Parece que están dispuestos a asumir la lucha contra el comercio ilegal y malo de los animales. Hemos oído decir que tienen la intención del seguimiento de la historia e incluso desean visitarnos aquí en Cañaote.
