The baby needs a name and the Washington post have a number of suggestions. You can choose which you prefer. The vote finishes on Friday when they will announce the babies name.
They are Sumaq, which means “beautiful” in the Quechua language; Orejas, which means “ears” in Spanish; Nando, which is short for Fernando and means “courageous”; and Loki, which is the Norse mythological god of mischief.
The voting ends on Friday, three months after the baby’s birth. The zoo plans to announce the winning name on Facebook that afternoon.
The Zoo have not yet identified the sex of the baby but I can tell you that she is a beautiful little lady. I think the name Sumaq is just right. What do you think. Tell the Washington Post.
