Schatov and Sophie have lived together for more than a year. In appearance he is a typical demanding macho monkey. He roars, he puffs himself up like the great warrior that he is. Not many of us know that behind this facade of virility, he is a sweet gentle and loving person. The truth is that Schatov is Sophie's second husband. Toto her former spouse released himself into the forest. She was alone for some time. She was not interested in the attentions of other monkeys, although we tried introductions. Finally Schatov persistently escaped from his enclosure and made his way across the canopy to her. He would sit for hours above her garden. She played hard to get and did not instantly accept his overtures. We open the door to the enclosure and Schatov hopped in. Since then they have been inseparable. They are a truly happy pair and we hope that one day they will have a child.

Schatov y Sophie.
Schatov y Sophie han vivido juntos por más de un año. En apariencia él es un mono macho típicamente exigente. Él ruge y resopla como el gran guerrero que es, pero muchos de nosotros sabemos que detrás de esta fachada de virilidad, él es una dulzura, manso y amoroso. La verdad es que Schatov es el segundo marido de Sophie. Toto su esposo anterior se soltó en el bosque. Ella estuvo sola durante algún tiempo. Ella no estaba interesada en las atenciones de otros monos, aunque nosotros probamos las introducciones. Finalmente Schatov escapó persistentemente de su cercamiento y llego a ella. Él se sentaba durante horas sobre el techo del cercamiento a mirarla. Ella jugó a hacerse la difícil y no aceptó sus adulaciones al instante. Nosotros abrimos la puerta del cercamiento y Schatov brincó dentro. Desde entonces ellos han sido inseparables. Ellos son una pareja verdaderamente feliz y nosotros esperamos que un día ellos tengan un niño.
